We believe in not letting things go to waste. Also, we love our bottles. Upcycling is a great and creative way to give those 7K empties a new life. Just because there’s no gin in them doesn’t mean they can’t still have a good time!

To help you make use of your empty gin bottle, we’ve collected some DIY ideas to spur your creativity.

1. Water bottle

Simple but useful. A cleaned-out 725ml 7K bottle is great for filling with water and storing in the fridge. Very handy for when you want a cold drink or need table water when entertaining guests.

2. Flower vase

Botanicals are in gin, so it’s only fitting the empty bottle makes us of botanicals too. Unleash your inner interior designer by putting together some bouquets in your empties

3. Bird Feeder

Entice some local feathered friends to your backyard with a homemade bird feeder! This one’s a bit trickier but worth the effort.

To make this, you’ll need to need to cut a hole in the glass (safely and cleanly for the birds), glue a plate on the base as a platform, and use a cork with string fed through it to it hang from a tree.

There are tutorials on YouTube with plenty of different types of designs. This is just the one we went with, but we recommend you check them out and experiment yourself.

4. Table light

Set the mood at your next friend gathering with these awesome bottle fairy lights! We bought some cheap fairylights connected to fake corks online, but any fairy lights you can get your hands on will do the trick.

5. Olive Oil Dispenser

Save space on the kitchen counter and look good while doing it. All you need for this is a stainless steel pourer, cheaply available online as well.

6. Return your bottle for a discount!
