7K Distillery, with Johnno's Tasmania and Grinner's Dive Bar, have combined their forces to create a limited edition gin hot sauce made from 7K Distillery's famous hot gin. Resurrecting our gin-steeped Carolina reapers from our World's Hottest Gin and Dry Chilli Gin, giving them a worthy second life in the form of a gin-ny, zingy hot sauce.

What a wonderful hot sauce.

I love hot sauce and when I saw 7K had a hot sauce I just had to buy it. Having bought numerous jars of their jam and gallons of gin, i knew that if it had their label on it, it had to be good.

The presentation of the bottle was first rate, and assumed it was to be a superhot sauce, but I was wrong about the heat. The heat would be similar to tabasco, but the depth of flavour and the richness of the sauce is just majestic.

Before opening it in my regular coffee shop the smell told me that it was going to be really good. I reached for a teaspoon to try it and it was so good. I then grabbed a heap of teaspoons and gave all of the staff a try. At first they were worried about trying a $2 coin size sample but when they did, they all loved it.

Having it on eggs for breakfast was just the perfect match. A mate joined me who also loves hot sauce and i got him to try it with the same reaction.

This has to be one of the most flavourful hot sauces I have had., The balance of flavour is perfect and the length just keeps going. While I personally would prefer more heat, I will always trade heat for great flavour which this is.

Guys have a second version with a bit more of a kick and the two options would be perfect.
