Age: 4 years, 5 months entire maturation

Nose: Warm apple pie with an All Spice shortcrust & a cinnamon anglaise. Blackcurrants & sultana muesli. Clove streusel & vanilla pods.

Palate: All Spice Crème Brûlée, vanilla cream puffs & oaky American Oak. Red apple skins with stewed Black Currants underlying with vanilla and All Spice.

Finish: The longer it breathes, the more the spice dissipates. And the more caramelised dark berry fruits come out. Dark and Jammy to finish like a heavily caramelised Jammy Dodger!

Another Excellent 7k Whiskey

I love the last bottle that was gifted to me so I had to try another but different one. I have to say I love this bottle more. Port cask are usually my favourites and this one did not disappoint. It has a creamy texture that very pleasant and a sweet creamy caramel taste that moves into a vanilla and more sweet berrish spice lasting taste and aromas. I found that letting it breath for 5 minutes improved it even more. This is one of my favourites from my collection, one I like to spend time appreciating first with the wonderful aromas. Thank you I will be back for others.
