Inspired by Tasmania's historic coaching inns, The Black Snake Hotel is a whisky built around the places where travellers stopped to rest, meet and share stories.

Each will explore another room in the hotel, bringing a different character, story and taste.

Room 01:

The Baker's Kitchen is a rich and warming blended whisky inspired by the comforting flavours of an old inn's kitchen. Expect fruit cake, dried fruit, warming spice, vanilla and toasted oak, with a smooth, lingering finish.

Black Snake Hotel sits outside the 7K Single Malt range, giving us the freedom to explore whisky in a different way through blending, cask and flavour.

ROOM 01 — THE BAKER'S KITCHEN

Step through the kitchen door and you're greeted by the familiar warmth of freshly baked fruit cake.

Rich dried fruit, warming spice, vanilla and toasted oak come together in a whisky that's generous, comforting and full of character.

It's the kind of dram that feels right beside a roaring fire, with nowhere else to be.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF WHISKY

Black Snake Hotel sits outside the 7K Single Malt range.

While our single malts are a celebration of individual distillery character, Black Snake Hotel gives us the freedom to explore whisky differently.

This is a blended whisky, allowing us to bring together different whiskies, casks and characters to create expressions that wouldn't otherwise be possible.

It's a new chapter for us — and eventually, The Black Snake Hotel will step out on its own, with its own identity and world.

But every story has to start somewhere.
