GIN SOUR
Ingredients:
- 60ml 7K Tasmanian Modern Gin
- 30ml lemon juice
- 20ml sugar syrup
- Egg white of 1 egg
- A few drops of Peychaud’s bitters for colour
Method:
Pour gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white into a cocktail shaker.
Add ice to the shaker for a 'wet shake'. Give it a good shake, then strain the liquid into one side of the shaker and discard ice from the other side.
Shake ingredients again without the ice (this is to aerate and foam up the cocktail a bit).
Strain the final cocktail over a block of ice in a short glass.
Finally, add a bit of colour to the cocktail with a few drops of bitters. Enjoy!
